Dynamic further development with a rigid intermediate bracket – Pro bracket

Erkat has previously impressed customers with its supporting console that can be rotated 360 degrees. It enables optimal positioning of the drum cutter in the area of use and extremely precise, yet flexible handling. The new rigid Pro bracket offers optimised protection of the hoses during work in confined areas and areas with limited visibility, combined with consistent quality and performance. An expansion of the product range that fulfils the requirements of the market ideally. “Erkat can offer both – dynamic and rigid”, explains Christoph Goebel, Product & Business Development Manager – Drum Cutters. “We are thus remaining true to our concept of constant further development which has been in place for over twenty years.”

With the development of the new Pro bracket, erkat is now both versatile and user-orientated. While the tried-and-tested 360 degree rotating bracket continues to impress with flexibility and a broad range, the static bracket primarily offers additional guaranteed protection of the customer investment.

The optimized hose guidance is outstanding: The hydraulic hoses run directly along the excavator arm and are fed out to the back, in the centre of the extension arm protection. This means that they are subjected to significantly less mechanical strain, do not cross each other and are better protected especially during work with minimal visual contact with the drum cutter (e.g. during trenching, close to walls, in tunnels or in water). The robust design in the form of a closed box prevents the demolition material from falling onto the engine cover from above.

Thanks to its extremely flexible usage options, the Pro bracket underlines the unbeatable

universal use of the ER drum cutter range. Compatible with the models ER 650 to ER 2000, the rigid bracket is the ideal alternative for every application. It can also offer a number of useful installations.

Erkat offers the Pro bracket with an optional water spraying system to meet the ever

increasing requirements for combating particulate matter during demolition work, tunnel and channel construction. The installation of an optional additional valve enables the overflow oil line and return to be combined so that the drum cutter can be connected to the hammer circuit of the excavator with just 2 hoses.

The customer can select freely whether a rotating or static support bracket is the ideal

solution for the individual requirements.
