Description
An ERC 1500 revolving rotary drum cutter is used to drive a railway tunnel in a weak to strong rock (30–40 MPa) in India.
The horse-shoe shaped tunnel is 8 m wide and 9 m high. One metre depth is cut across complete tunnel cross section in two hours i.e. approx. 32 m3/hr.
