Description
A modified ERC 2000 fitted with a cutter wheel on one side was used to cut straight, vertical slots in hard sandstone beside the foundation walls of a neighbouring property. The modified drum cutter cut a 500 mm deep slot right up against the boundary line in the rock. This void allowed the use of hydraulic breakers to remove rock from within the job site while reducing the effects of vibration transmitted to neighbouring foundations.
