Description
Attached to a Kobelco SK 480, an ER 3000 is to be used to create a cellar in the inner courtyard of a school building in Austria.
In order for the 48 tonne excavator to reach the courtyard of the building complex, the Erkat drum cutter will cut an 8 metre high, 10 metre wide and approximately 12 metre long opening into the building. Without any problems, 200 cubic metres of masonry, concrete and water pipes are milled and torn out with little vibration. After only 6 hours of milling work, the excavator is already standing in the yard.
